Prabhas has dismissed rumors of a new project with Maruti.

Entertainment: Recently, there were rumors that Prabhas would be teaming up again with director Maruthi for a new project under Hombale Films, but these rumors have been completely debunked. Prabhas’s PR team dismissed the reports as entirely baseless, stating that the speculation arose suddenly and seemed intended to spread unnecessary negativity around the actor. Currently, Prabhas is fully focused on his upcoming films ‘Fauji’ and ‘Spirit’, which are expected to release within the next 14 months. Fans have high expectations for these films, hoping they will mark a triumphant comeback for the star. These rumors largely stemmed from Prabhas’s previous release, ‘The Raja Saab’, directed by Maruthi, which was a box office flop. The horror-fantasy entertainer failed to meet expectations, leaving fans disappointed with the final product. Prabhas had previously entrusted Maruthi, known for hit films like ‘Bhale Bhale Magadivoy’, to deliver a lighthearted entertainer amidst his action-packed films. However, weak execution, poor visual effects, and a heavily criticized face-swapping technique led to the film being heavily trolled and ultimately declared a disaster. Given this, Prabhas’s team has clarified that there are no plans for any further collaboration with Maruthi, putting an end to the speculation.
