Postmaster committed suicide by hanging himself, family members shocked
Etah: In UP’s Etah, a postmaster committed suicide by hanging himself in Varna village of Jaithra. On Monday morning, the family members saw the body hanging and informed the police. According to the family members, the youth took this step due to work pressure. On receiving the information, the police started investigating the matter. Anand Pandey (20), son of Kaushal Kishore Pandey, resident of Varna village of Police Station Jaithra, got a job only six months ago. He was employed as a post master and was posted in branch village Qutubpur Kasganj.
It is being told that he had come to the village on Saturday after taking leave. According to the family members, he used to say that he was upset due to excessive work pressure. He will not work anymore. On Sunday night, he committed suicide by hanging himself in a hut. On Monday morning, the family members saw the body hanging in the hut. There was chaos in the family after seeing the body. The police was informed about the matter. On receiving the information, SO Rajkumar Singh reached the village with the force and talked to the family members.
It is being told that his parents live somewhere else. They are being waited for, due to which the police did not send the body to the postmortem house. After the parents came, the postmortem was done and the body was handed over to the relatives. Police says that the family has told about the stress due to work. No suicide note has been found yet. Some more information will be obtained after searching the phone and the hut.
It is being told that the deceased’s parents work in Bhiwadi. Anand Pandey also used to do the same work. He had filled the form for a job in the post office in which his number came up.
