Kerala: Posters against DCC president N.D. Appachan and MLA T. Siddique at Wayanad DCC office. The posters mention the death of N.M. Vijayan. The posters titled “Save Congress” said, “Release the DCC president and save the Congress party.”
The posters said that the DCC president along with the MLA is beating up Congress workers who came to the pass, and the tears you shed in front of the bodies of N.M. Vijayan and his son are a curse for the party. On Tuesday night, there is however no poster with the name of I.C. Balakrishnan MLA, the second accused in the case related to the suicide of DCC treasurer N.M. Vijayan. This points to factionalism within the party. Wayanad MP Priyanka Gandhi met N.M. Vijayan’s family yesterday. Priyanka Gandhi said the party will stand with the family, including in financial matters.
