Police’s STF busted a gang smuggling fake gold

New Delhi: The Special Task Force (STF) of Assam Police busted a gang involved in smuggling of fake gold on Wednesday evening. Police arrested three people in this connection from Jorabat area on the outskirts of Guwahati. News agency ANI gave this information in an X post today.

According to reports, STF of Assam Police busted a fake gold smuggling gang and arrested three people of the gang with fake gold and Fake Indian Currency Notes (FICN). During the operation, the STF arrested three persons along with a four-wheeler, a boat-shaped fake gold weighing approximately 1.627 kg, 150 FICN numbers worth Rs 500 (total Rs 75,000), 2 mobile phones.
