Police van accident in Dhenkanal, as many as 6 police officers critical

Dhenkanal: In a tragic police van accident in Dhenkanal district of Odisha as many as six police officers have been injured. According to reports, the police van went to catch the cattle-laden vehicle and crashed into a tree.

As many as six police officers are seriously injured in the accident, five people have been shifted to SCB Medical College and Hospital in Cuttack. The accident took place near Beltikiri village in Dhenkanal district. Late last night, an accident took place under Dhenkanal Sadar police station.

At around 1:30 am, the Dhenkanal police chased the vehicle after receiving a report of cattle smuggling in two pick-up vans. The police vehicle hit a tree. All the seriously injured were first brought to Dhenkanal Hospital. Later, five people were shifted to Cuttack SCB as their condition became critical. Further detailed reports awaited in this regard.
