Police strict on pressure horns, prompt action within 6 days

Dhamtari. On the instructions of Superintendent of Police Prashant Thakur, under the guidance of Additional Superintendent of Police Madhulika Singh, under the leadership of Deputy Superintendent of Police Traffic Mani Shankar Chandra, environmental protection and control of noise pollution by traffic police and police stations as per the order of the Honorable High Court, educational institutions, educational activities, elderly people.

Keeping in mind the health and public peace of disabled people and sick people, all government/non-government hospitals, all government/non-government educational institutions, district and session courts, all government/semi-government offices have been made Zone of Silent by the district administration. In view of which, to make the drivers follow the rules, traffic police and district police force conducted a campaign and took action against 304 vehicles running with pressure horns and pressure horns were seized.

Also, with the aim of promoting road safety, following traffic rules and reducing deaths due to road accidents, action has been taken against 750 drivers from January 1 to January 28, 2023. This action will continue to ensure that drivers follow traffic rules, promote road safety and environmental protection.
