Police reached Devendra Yadav’s house, fierce sloganeering, Deepak Baij also reached

Bhilai Nagar: In the Balodabazar violence case, the police team has been camped at the residence of Congress MLA Devendra Yadav of Bhilai Nagar since morning. There is a crowd of supporters outside his MLA residence in Sector 5. The police team is not being allowed to go inside. There is also a heated debate between the police and the MLA’s supporters outside, while the MLA is present inside.

Even after waiting for hours in this case, the police is not able to reach MLA Devendra. At 1 pm, State Congress Committee President Deepak Baij also reached Devendra’s bungalow. He is continuously discussing with the police officers. Devendra Yadav has still not come out of the bungalow.

It is known that on June 10, the Satnami community had protested in Balodabazar in the matter of damage to the Jaitkhambh. During this, their protest turned violent. The crowd vandalized the Collector and SP office and set it on fire. Along with this, the mob did not spare the vehicles parked outside, they set those vehicles on fire after vandalizing them.

A meeting was held before the demonstration, in which many Congress leaders including Bhilai MLA Devendra Yadav had participated. In this connection, Baloda Bazar police wants to question MLA Devendra Yadav. Earlier, despite receiving notices 4 times in a row, the MLA did not record his statement. He refused to give a statement and said that due to his busy schedule, he cannot come to Baloda Bazar to give a statement. If the police wants to record a statement, they should come to him and take the statement. After which the police team has reached the MLA’s residence for the second time today.

Devendra Yadav had said that he was being harassed unnecessarily and he did not go, as a result, today the Baloda Bazar police team has reached the MLA’s house to question him about the incident.

It is worth noting that apart from Baloda Bazar, investigation is also going on against Devendra Yadav in the coal scam and the alleged MMS case. A few days ago, Bhilai Nagar police had also issued a notice to him and called him to the police station for photo video. Devendra did not go there to record his statement again. He said that he has already given his statement once by going to the police station. Whatever further inquiry or information is needed in the investigation, the police should come to his office and take it. Devendra said that whenever he is busy in important work, he is sent a notice. Whatever statement the police has to take, they should come to him and take it. He had alleged that the police is harassing him by repeatedly giving notices.

Today, the Baloda Bazaar police team that reached to question the MLA has been stationed with him since morning, as soon as the information was received, Devendra’s supporters have also reached outside the bungalow in large numbers. There have been altercations between the police officers and supporters here many times. Congress state president Deepak Baij has also reached the Bhilai MLA bungalow. He is discussing with the police officers. Even after hours, the police team has not been able to reach MLA Devendra nor has Devendra Yadav come out of the bungalow.
