Police raid on betting information, 6 people arrested

Dhamtari. Action has been taken against the speculators. According to the information, Rajesh Bandhe’s father Vishnu Prasad Bandhe, 33 years old, Sakin Makeshwar Ward near water tank under Kotwali area, Dhamtari police team has arrested the bookies who were playing betting near Shiv Mandir in front of forest office by Dhamtari writing betting along with Satta Patti. From whom a speculative strip worth thousands of rupees and about Rs.1510/- in cash and a PAN have been recovered.

The same Birendra Bandhe’s father Shyam Lal Dhimar, age 56, has been arrested by the Dhamtari police team, who were playing betting near Amapara Gaura Chaura Dhamtari, writing bets along with the Satta Patti. From whom a Satta Patti worth thousands of rupees and about Rs 1370/- in cash and a PAN has been recovered. Please inform that the police station city police station has duly taken action against the three bookies under Chhattisgarh Gambling Prohibition Act 2022 Section 06 Gambling Act. 6 accused have been duly arrested and sent on judicial remand.
