Police arrested two in case of theft and check dishonor
Rajsamand. Two permanent warrantees were arrested in the case of theft and check dishonor in Rajnagar police station circle in Rajsamand. According to Rajnagar Police Station Incharge Leeladhar Malviya, under the direction of Superintendent of Police Sudhir Joshi, the Rajnagar Police team raided the hideouts of the wanted criminals while conducting a catch operation to arrest the absconding, proclaimed and wanted criminals in the district.
Two permanent warrants Dinesh Singh ”27” son of Babu Singh Rawat resident of Doli Kalia Jojawar police station Siriyari district Pali and Rantisingh alias Pappu Singh ”45” son of Man Singh Chauhan resident of Kallakhedi Badlawali police station Nathdwara were arrested.
Both of them were hiding after changing their names after a warrant was issued by the court against the permanent warranty, and were arrested by the team by raiding possible places with the help of technical means and informers. Warranty Dinesh Singh was absconding for about 7 years in the theft case and Warranty Ranjeet Singh was absconding for about 2 years in the check dishonor case.
POCSO Court Judge Purnima Gaud found the accused guilty of outraging the modesty of a minor girl and sentenced him to 3 years imprisonment and a fine of Rs 2,000. According to Rahul Sanadhya, Special Public Prosecutor of POCSO Court, on January 28, 2022, the victim’s mother presented a report to the Station Officer, Police Station Bhim, in which she told that on the evening of January 27, 2022, her daughter was going from her house to the enclosure when the accused came to her house. He grabbed her daughter from in front and took her inside her house.
Scared her and did obscene acts. When the victim screamed, her sister came and the accused left the victim. Then his daughter came to him at home and told him the whole story after which a case was registered. Based on the report, police station Bhim registered a case, completed the investigation and presented the charge sheet against the accused in the POCSO court.
Appearing in the court on behalf of the victim girl and the state government, special public prosecutor Rahul Sanadhya got the statements of 16 witnesses taken in the court and presented 29 documents. After hearing the arguments of both the sides, the court declared the accused guilty. After which the POCSO court sentenced the accused to 3 years imprisonment and a fine of Rs 2,000.
