Police arrested the youth who abducted a minor
Raigarh. Superintendent of Police Divyang Kumar Patel is running a special campaign to search for missing minors, in which the Pusaur police recovered the minor girl and arrested the accused Sanjay Kumar Satnami from Chandrapur area for luring and kidnapping the girl and sent him on judicial remand under sections of rape and POCSO Act. On February 23, the father of the missing girl had filed a report of the girl’s disappearance in Pusaur police station, on which a crime number 59/2024 was registered in Pusaur police station under section 363 IPC and the girl was being traced. It was reported that the missing girl was in contact with Sanjay Kumar Satnami of Baradwar, both were constantly changing their location.
The police was pressurizing the suspect Sanjay Kumar Satnami. Recently, on the information of the girl and the suspect being seen in Chandrapur, the police station in-charge immediately raided and took Sanjay Kumar Satnami into custody, from whose possession the girl was recovered. The statement of the girl was recorded by a woman police officer in which the girl said that Sanjay Kumar Satnami lured her into marriage and abducted her and established physical relations with her. In the case, sections 366, 376(2)(N) IPC, 4, 6 of the POCSO Act have been extended and the accused Sanjay Kumar Satnami, father Yadaram Satnami, age 19 years, resident of Sakreli, police station Baradwar, district Sakti has been arrested and sent on judicial remand. Police station in-charge Pusaur inspector Rohit Kumar Banjare, sub-inspector Kundanlal Gaur, head constable Dol Narayan Sahu, Prakash Giri Goswami and Suman Baretha played a special role in the investigation, recovery of the girl and arrest of the accused.
