Police arrested the District President for raping a minor girl

Janjgir-Champa. Shivrinarayan police of the district has arrested Surendra Ratnakar, District President of Bhim Regiment on the charge of raping a minor girl and sent him to jail in judicial custody. The accused Surendra Ratnakar is a resident of Semra village in Nawagarh area. Police has registered an offense against the accused Surendra Ratnakar under sections 376, 506, POCSO Act 04, 06 of IPC.

According to the information received from the police, the minor girl came to the police station and lodged a report that Surendra Ratnakar of Semra village came to the victim’s house on June 17, 2022 and raped her and threatened to kill her if she told anyone. Accused Surendra Ratnakar raped her many times on the point of getting married and later refused to marry. Shivrinarayan police have arrested the accused Surendra Ratnakar, District President of Bhim Regiment, resident of Semra village in the case and sent him to jail.
