PM to attend second anniversary programme of BJP government in Odisha

Odisha: Prime Minister Narendra Modi will attend the celebrations marking the second anniversary of the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) government in Odisha. State Chief Minister Mohan Charan Majhi announced this during an event held in the state capital on Thursday.
Chief Minister Mohan Charan Majhi stated that he had invited Prime Minister Narendra Modi to attend the celebrations marking the second anniversary of the BJP government in Odisha, and that the invitation had been approved by the central government. He stated that he received positive signals in this regard on Wednesday, following which preparations for the event have been accelerated.
The Chief Minister said, “I had wholeheartedly invited the Prime Minister to attend the celebrations marking the second anniversary of the BJP government in Odisha. We received the green light yesterday.” Following his statement, preparations have intensified at the political and administrative levels in the state.
Earlier, the state government had announced that, given the current global situation and the energy crisis caused by the ongoing war in the Middle East, the second anniversary celebrations would be held in a simpler and more restrained manner than before. The government has taken this decision keeping in mind the economic and social circumstances.
Despite this, the state government is planning to organize a comprehensive series of events to mark the anniversary. According to official information, the event will be held in various phases from June 12th to June 21st, showcasing the government’s achievements, schemes, and development work.
According to the state government, several public events, interactive sessions, and development exhibitions will be held during this period, aimed at disseminating the government’s work over the past two years to the public. The achievements of various administrative departments will also be showcased.
The Chief Minister’s Office (CMO) has also stated that the government will launch a special media campaign to widely publicize the government’s policies, schemes, and development initiatives over the past two years. This campaign aims to spread information about government work to as many people as possible.
Political analysts believe that Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s presence at this event will further strengthen the party organization in the state and provide an opportunity to publicize the government’s achievements at the national level.
Overall, this celebration of the second anniversary of the BJP government in Odisha is being considered important from both political and administrative perspectives, where the partnership and development agenda of the central and state governments will come to the fore.
