He further says that today is National Science Day, the science festival of the country. 28 February 1928 is the date when Sir CV Raman announced his discovery of the Raman Effect. This was the discovery that won him the Nobel Prize. Curiosity is the mother of science. Innovation is not possible without science and technology. Today on National Science Day, emphasis should be given on innovation. Knowledge, science, technology all became natural parts of our development journey.
