PM Modi inaugurates world class operation control center of Indian Railways

New Delhi: Indian Railways has achieved a major achievement today. Indian Railways also now has the world class technology and command centers that exist in some selected countries of the world. This control center has all the equipment equipped with state-of-the-art technology. Prime Minister Narendra Modi inaugurated it on Tuesday.

There is a 200 feet long screen installed in the entire control center on which the Railways has divided different sections of 400 kilometers each. In this, point machine, signal, which train will be at the station, phone conversation with the loco pilot, everything will be done from one place.

In big countries of the world, there are such command centers so that the entire railway can be monitored from one place, which is completely safe.

It was inaugurated by Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Tuesday in Ahmedabad, Gujarat. The Prime Minister said in its inauguration ceremony that in the coming 5 years the Railways will be made completely different and state-of-the-art.

He said that what people suffered during the old governments, our youth will not suffer now and now Indian Railways is a powerful medium of vocal and local.

He said that in the coming 5 years, the Railways will be completely rejuvenated and the Railways will provide its services to the people with world class facilities.

Railway Minister Ashwini Vaishnav, who was present on the occasion, said, “PM Modi today inaugurated a world-class Operation Control Center in Ahmedabad. Every element of the railway operation is controlled from this centre. Railways is a big player in making India self-reliant. “Strength will be created. There will be complete rejuvenation of Railways in the next 5 years and PM Modi’s dream of making world class railways will be fulfilled.”

He told that through this command center we can do every detailed monitoring. Giving an example, he said that suppose maintenance has to be done somewhere, and the station master did not pay attention and did not stop the trains from going there, then everything will be visible on the screen of this command center and the signal can be controlled sitting from here itself. Can be red or green.

He told that every minute thing can be taken care of from this Operation Command Control Center. From here, commands can be given, controlled and its operation can also be done.

He said that today the Prime Minister has inaugurated and laid the foundation stone of railway projects worth Rs 85,000 crore across the country, in which two factories are also present.
