PM Modi inaugurates Lucknow’s new integrated terminal building

Lucknow: Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Saturday inaugurated the new integrated terminal building of Azamgarh to Lucknow airport. On this occasion, Defense Minister Rajnath Singh, Deputy Chief Minister Brajesh Pathak along with Managing Director of Adani Ports and SEZ Limited (APSEZ) Karan Adani were also present in Lucknow. On this occasion, Defense Minister Rajnath Singh said that being a public representative of Lucknow, I am happy to see the development of this airport. Former Prime Minister Atal Bihari Vajpayee had made great efforts and brought development in Lucknow. He said, along with Lucknow, the entire country is progressing by leaps and bounds. The terminal will provide employment to 13 thousand people.
Rajnath Singh said that our government has tried hard to convert difficulties into opportunities. The barrier keeping the common man away from the elite class has been eliminated. Earlier the poor could not connect with banks. Our government linked the poor to banks through Jan Dhan Yojana and brought them at par with the elite class. Today even the poor class has internet facility. He said, earlier airports and air travel used to create a gap between the poor and the rich. We closed this gap. Fulfilled the dream flight of the poor of the country. The Defense Minister said that his ministry has made a major contribution to the development of the airport. Lucknow is progressing rapidly. Lucknow has made its place in terms of ranking.
