PM, CM attend Satya Sai’s centenary celebrations today

Amaravati: Prime Minister Narendra Modi along with Chief Minister Nara Chandrababu Naidu will participate in the centenary birthday celebrations of Sri Satya Saibaba at Puttaparthi on Wednesday.
The Chief Minister reached Puttaparthi on Tuesday night. He will welcome Prime Minister Narendra Modi at Puttaparthi airport on Wednesday. Both the leaders will visit Prasanti Nilayam and offer prayers at Satya Saibaba Maha Samadhi. Later both the Chief Minister and Prime Minister will reach Hill View stadium and participate in Satya Saibaba centenary birthday celebrations to be organised in a big way. On this occasion, the Prime Minister will release a commemorative coin and a set of stamps honouring the life, teachings, and enduring legacy of Sathya Sai Baba,
Later, the Prime Minister will travel to Coimbatore in Tamil Nadu, where he will inaugurate the South India Natural Farming Summit. During the programme, he will release the 21st instalment of PM-KISAN, amounting to more than Rs 18,000 crore to support nine crore farmers across the country. The PM will also address the gathering on the occasion.
After bidding farewell to the Prime Minister at Puttaparthi airport, the Chief Minister will reach Pendlimarri of Kamalapuram constituency in Kadapa to participate in Annadata Sukheebhava second phase funds distribution programme. As part of Annadata Sukheebhava and PM Kisan scheme, each farmer will get Rs 7,000. As many as 46,85,838 farmers will benefit under the scheme. The state government is spending Rs 3,135 crore on this scheme in the second phase.
Later, the Chief Minister will interact with the TDP cadre before reaching Amaravati by Wednesday night.
