Pitbull attacks 10 year old girl, admitted to hospital

Ghaziabad : An innocent 10 year old girl was attacked by a pitbull dog in Shalimar Garden area of Ghaziabad. The girl’s face was badly bitten by the dog. After this the girl has been admitted to a private hospital, where her surgery is being done.

Many incidents of dangerous breed of Pitbull dogs attacking people have been reported in the past also. This case is of DLF Colony of Shalimar Garden. It is completely prohibited to keep dogs of breed like Pitbull and even if someone has already kept it, it is mandatory to register it with the Municipal Corporation.

At present, the victim’s family has complained about this matter to the police. Amar Singh, living in DLF Colony in Shalimar Garden area of Ghaziabad, has kept a pitbull dog. At around 8 pm on Wednesday night, Alia Naz, 10-year-old daughter of Naz Mohammed, who lives in the neighbourhood, had gone to Amar Singh’s house to meet his daughter Maanvi Singh. During this time, Pitbull was roaming freely below and all the family members were present on the terrace of the house.

Suddenly the dog caught Aaliya’s face in its jaws. The girl screamed, but seeing the terrifying anger of the dog, no one had the courage to rescue her. Hearing the screams, an elderly person from the neighborhood came to the spot and somehow drove the pitbull away with his stick. By then the girl was bleeding.

Initially, after seeing the condition of the injured girl, the family took her to Guru Teg Bahadur Hospital in Delhi. First aid was given there, but the bleeding did not stop. At around 11 pm on Thursday night, the family took the girl to two private hospitals. Seeing the condition of the girl, he refused to admit her. After which the family brought him back to Ghaziabad and admitted him to Max Hospital Vaishali.

According to the family, the doctors are now busy performing surgery. There are serious bite marks at many places on the girl’s face. There is a big cut near the eye. The girl’s eye was narrowly saved in this attack. The girl’s family has filed a complaint against the pitbull owner at the DLF police post. After this incident came to light, the Municipal Corporation has promised to investigate and take action.
