Pickup full of stolen junk overturned, 5 serious, 14 injured

Korba. A pickup vehicle full of junk going from Korba to Raigarh overturned near Hati. It is being told that the stolen junk was being taken to Raigad for consumption in the neighboring state. There were 22 people in the pickup. 5 people became serious in the accident. While 14 are injured. All the injured have been admitted to District Hospital Korba in a private vehicle. Five seriously injured patients have been referred to private hospitals. It is being told that there was a load of five tonnes of stolen junk in the pickup. After the accident, there was a hue and cry on the spot. The injured were immediately admitted to the hospital. After the incident, once again the case of junk theft has come to the fore. The injured include Jeet Kumar, Karan Patel, Pradeep Oraon, Aman Kumar, Munia Das Mahant, Nikhin Chauhan and others. All the injured are residents of village Dadar, Kashinagar and Niharika area.
