Phuleshwari Devdas now lives comfortably in a permanent house

The problems of women are now being resolved by getting many essential facilities like permanent houses, toilets and gas cylinders built through government schemes.

Phuleshwari Devdas now lives comfortably in a permanent house.

Under the Pradhan Mantri Awas Yojana, the dream of Phuleshwari Devdas of Gram Kantakurridih of Vananchal Nagari development block of Dhamtari district has been fulfilled. Their happiness is clearly visible on their faces. He told that earlier his family lived in a mud house. Being a tile house, there was a lot of trouble during the rainy season due to water dripping at various places in the house. There was a fear of the mud wall collapsing during the rainy season. Phuleshwari says that she did not have money to build a permanent house. When he came to know about the Pradhan Mantri Awas Yojana, he got it registered on priority basis to build his own permanent house. He thanked the state government including Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi and said that now his family is living comfortably in a permanent house.

Dhaneshwari Sahu living life with self-respect

Dhaneshwari Sahu of village Jarhakhar, who reached the resolution camp organized in Vananchal Gram Panchayat Kantakurridih of Dhamtari district under the Vikas Bharat Sankalp Yatra, thanked Prime Minister Narendra Modi and said that a toilet has been built in her house under the Swachh Bharat Mission. Earlier, since there was no toilet in the house, she used to go out in the open to defecate, this made her feel very bad, and there was also the fear of wild animals, snakes and scorpions. He told that under Swachh Bharat Mission Gramin, he got Rs 12 thousand for the construction of toilet. At present all the members of the family are using the toilet. Since a toilet has been built in the house, the entire family is living with self-respect.
