Phagwara: Two arrested for kidnapping migrant’s son

Phagwara: Shahkot police have arrested two miscreants for kidnapping a boy. The accused have been identified as Jagroop Singh alias Rupa, resident of Basti Dera Baba Gulab Das under Dharam Kot police station in Moga and Gurpreet Singh alias Sonu, resident of Kaila village under Dharam Kot police station. Jabbar Singh, a native of Madhya Pradesh and currently living in Slechan village, complained to the police that the accused had kidnapped his son Krishan. A case has been registered against the accused under sections 140(3) (abduction with intent to secretly and wrongfully confine a person) and 3(5) (acts done by several persons in furtherance of common intention) of the (BNS).
