People upset due to breaking of culvert in Akrabhatta

Sirohi. It rained for three days in Abu Road due to Biprajoy storm. The rains have stopped since Monday, but due to damaged roads in many places, people are facing problems.

In Akrabhatta, people are facing problems due to the breaking of the culvert on the way to the irrigation colony. Irrigation Colony Niwai Goru Khan told that he has been sitting at home for the last 5 days after the culvert broke. The only access road has been completely destroyed. There is an auto parked at home due to which there is a problem in running the livelihood.

On the other hand, there is power cut in 24 villages of Bhakhar region after rains, which could not be restored even after 5 days. Panchayat Samiti member Devaram Garasia said that due to inflow of water in the under-construction Battisa dam, the poles and wires of the dam area were submerged, due to which power supply could not be restored in 24 villages of Bhakhar area. The electrical wires will be repaired only after the water is removed from the Battisa dam, after which power will be restored.
