Patwari broke rules and laws, Collector also surprised, gave instructions to file FIR

Korba: Have Patwaris gone out of control in Chhattisgarh? Actually, the incident in Korba seems to be telling something like this. Patwari, ignoring rules and laws, distributed 250 acres of land. After the disclosure of this matter, the Collector has suspended the Patwari. Along with this, instructions have also been given to register an FIR against the Patwari and ten people who got their names registered in the revenue records illegally.
Collector Ajit Basant handed over the responsibility of investigating the matter to the SDM. The investigation confirmed that the land registered in the revenue records as a small bush forest was registered in the name of private individuals. Not only this, people have also taken loans by mortgageing the land registered in their name in various banks.
After the investigation report came out, the Collector has suspended Patwari Lokeshwar Maitri and given instructions to file an FIR against the Patwari, computer operator Bittu along with 10 alleged land owners.
