Patna: Amid rumors of JDU leader and his ally Nitish Kumar joining BJP, RJD president Lalu Prasad and his son and deputy minister Tejashwi Yadav met the minister principal at his residence on Friday. It is being told that in the meeting which lasted for about 40 minutes, the seat distribution formula for the Lok Sabha elections was discussed. Talking to reporters, Tejashwi said, “Nitish Kumar is the minister of Bihar and I am the deputy minister of Bihar. That’s why we are a little united.” Regarding any change in the political scenario in the state, Tejashwi said, “It is sad to say that the question you have raised has no relevance. There is no need to clarify once again. I want to say I am certain that BJP’s defeat in Bihar is certain.” You are thinking about the election sharing formula in India, I want to ask is it so? It has been finalised. NDA seat sharing formula”, Yadav told reporters. Asked about JDU’s claim of contesting on 17 seats in Bihar, Tejashwi said, “This is an internal issue between JDU and RJD. We are united and working under the leadership of Nitish Kumar in Bihar.”
