Patha Utsav to be organised 12 times a year: H&UD Minister Krushna Chandra Mohapatra
Bhubaneswar: The Patha Utsav will be organised once in every month and 12 times a year said Housing and Urban Development Minister Krushna Chandra Mohapatra. This decision was taken keeping in view the participation and interest of the people in the Patha Utsav this year. On Sunday, the second Patha Utsav was organised at Jagamara in Bhubaneswar and thousands of people joined in.
Rangoli, yoga, skating, cycling, basket ball, ludo, quiz competition, magic shows can be witnessed in the foot festival at Janpath.
This is conducted to promote a healthy and eco-friendly environment for the pedestrians and for the citizens. Thousands of pedestrians keen to explore fitness, cultural programmes, arts and food stalls have participated in this festival today. Singer Asima Panda, Satyajit Pradhan, Jaydev dance group.
Dignitaries like Housing and Urban Development Minister Krushna Chandra Mohapatra, BMC Mayor Sulochana Das and MLA of Ekamra constituency Babu Singh also joined the Patha Utsav.
