Pastor running conversion campaign, 6 arrested
Raigarh. A case of conversion through a healing meeting has come to light in Lalunga, a tribal dominated area of the district. After information from Bajrang Dal members, Lalunga police is questioning the pastor and his 6 companions in custody.
According to the information received, a pastor from the neighboring state of Odisha reached the village of Banstank in Lalunga police station area of Raigarh district today afternoon with his companions and was converting innocent villagers through a healing meeting. After receiving information about this, members of Bajrang Dal reached the spot with the police team.
It is being told that Lalunga police, which reached the spot after information from Bajrang Dal as well as other villagers of the village, is questioning the pastor and his 6 companions in custody. Also, Lalunga’s former district member Lokeshwar Sidar has also reached the police station to lodge a report in the said case.
