Passenger trains cancelled after goods train derailment at Amalner station

Maharashtra : Train services were severely disrupted after a freight train derailed at Amalner station on Western Railway’s Mumbai Central division on Wednesday at 2:18 pm. The incident occurred when the freight train was moving from the loop line to the main line headed towards Surat.

As a result of the derailment, several passenger trains were either cancelled, diverted or diverted to alternate routes, affecting hundreds of passengers across the region.
