Palaniswami for Tamil Nadu, Rangaswamy for Puducherry: MK’s criticism

Tamil Nadu: Chief Minister M.K. Stalin today (April 6) assured that the Dravidian model projects implemented in Tamil Nadu will also be implemented in Puducherry.
He criticized Rangasamy, who has been in power in Puducherry for five years, for not holding local body elections and blamed the National Democratic Alliance (NDA) regime for the lack of development in Puducherry.
Chief Minister M.K. Stalin campaigned in Puducherry today (April 7) in support of Secular Progressive Alliance (SPA) candidates.
During the campaign, Chief Minister M.K. Stalin said:
“The BJP has buried the values of Puducherry. If the BJP needs to, they will break up a state and create a new one.”
The National Democratic Alliance government has ruined beautiful Puducherry. Just as the BJP got Gulam Palaniswami in Tamil Nadu, they have got Rangasamy in Puducherry too.
Why did Rangaswamy, who served as Chief Minister for five years, not hold local body elections? Rangaswamy will face the same fate as Bihar Chief Minister Nitish Kumar. Rangaswamy will keep changing his mind about this position.
Rangaswamy, who had announced that he would resign if any party was included in the alliance, changed his mind within 24 hours.
We will implement the Dravidian model projects implemented in Tamil Nadu in Puducherry. Local government elections will be held in Puducherry. Puducherry and Karaikal will be converted into municipal corporations.
Karakikal will be converted into a rice warehouse and a grain warehouse will be built. Steps will be taken to grant statehood to Puducherry.
MK Stalin said, “A business investors’ conference will be held in Puducherry and new business opportunities will be created. My voice will be heard not only for Tamil Nadu but also for Puducherry.”
