Painful death of 21 year old youth due to electric shock
Manendragarh. The body of a 21-year-old youth was found in front of the school on Tuesday in Adhibar village of Manendragarh-Chirmiri-Bharatpur district. Burn marks were found on the young man’s private parts and legs. Police investigation revealed that the young man had gone to the forest with three friends to hunt birds, where he got hit by 11 thousand volt electric current. The entire matter is of Khargwan police station area. According to the information, Karan Singh (21), resident of Adhibar, had left home at around 8 pm on Monday night saying he was going for bird shooting, but he was found lying dead in front of the school. On receiving information, Khadgawan police reached the spot, took possession of the body and sent it for postmortem.
During police interrogation, the youths Mahesh, Veer Singh and another youth who had gone hunting along were interrogated. He told that the four youths had gone to the forest at night. Karan Singh was walking ahead when he got electrocuted. Seeing Karan Singh in a seriously burnt condition, three friends who had accompanied him, separated him from the wave wire and brought him out of the forest. He died on the way near the primary school. All three got scared by his death and ran away leaving his body near the primary school. His body parts were burnt due to electric current. The injury was caused by a fall. Khadgawan police station in-charge Ram Nayan Gupta said that during investigation of the incident site, evidence of spreading current through GI wire has been found. The GI wire was connected to 11 thousand volt line. The police is investigating those who spread the electric shock. Soon the police will reach the accused.
