Tamil Nadu : BJP state president Naina Nagendran said that our army and military equipment are powerful.
A tricolor flag rally and public meeting was organized amid heavy rains in Hosur on Saturday to pay tribute to the Indian Army.
Earlier, the rally was inaugurated by BJP national secretary Duswanth Kumar Gautam and BJP state president Naina Nagendran. The rally, which started from Hosur Ramnagar, passed through Old Bengaluru Road, Lake Street and Taluk Office Road and ended at Kamaraj Colony. A public meeting was organized there amid heavy rains. BJP national secretary Duswanth Kumar Gautam, Arvind and former BJP state president K. Annamalai delivered speeches at the rally.
At the public meeting, BJP state president Naina Nagendran said:
We salute the Indian soldiers who gave a befitting reply to Pakistan. Congratulations to Prime Minister Narendra Modi for this action. 26 Indians were killed in Pahalgam. On May 7, the 16th day of this incident, our army attacked Pakistan. Today 16 countries have signed deals to buy India’s Brahmos missiles. He said our army and military equipment are very powerful.
Former BJP state president K. Annamalai said:
26 people were killed on the basis of religion in Jammu and Kashmir. The aim of terrorists is to create tension between Hindus and Muslims in the country. On May 7, Prime Minister Modi gave a free hand to the three armies and destroyed the terrorist camps operating in Pakistan.
When the Pakistani army attacked Indian people on the border, our army destroyed Pakistani military bases. Hosur is inhabited by people speaking three languages Tamil, Telugu and Kannada. He said the national flag rally held in Hosur, located on the state border, was important.
BJP state vice-presidents K.P. Ramalingam, K.S. Narendran, Muruganantham, national general secretary G. Balakrishnan, Amar Prasad Reddy, State general secretary Keshav Vinayagam, district president Narayanan, former district presidents Muniraj and Nagaraj, among others participated in the rally and public meeting.
