OTP scam will be controlled, these special features will be available in Android 15
New Delhi. Google has geared up to curb frauds and scams through OTP. Such a feature will be provided in Android 15. Which will automatically identify OTT related frauds and will alert the users through notification. Android beta has been introduced to developers at Google I/O 2024. It will be rolled out for all users in the coming days.

Keeping in mind the security and privacy of the users, Google is adding additional layer protection in the Android 15 operating system. The company has said that AI powered protection features will be offered in the new OS. Which will give an additional security layer to the users and will improve privacy from fake apps.
Security of malware users: A new feature will be provided in the update to keep users safe from frauds and spyware. Which will alert the users through notification itself that the call received by them may also be a spam call.
Restricted Settings: Google launched Restricted Settings with the Android 13 operating system and now it will be improved in Android 15. This will greatly reduce the risk of users’ sensitive information being leaked.

Private Space: People who are running phones on Android 14 operating system would know that a feature called Private Space is provided in it. But in Android it is being brought with upgraded features in the name of Private Space. With the availability of this feature, the security of the users will become better than before.
Theft Detection Lock: There is a continuous increase in the number of digital frauds and in view of this, Google is offering Theft Detection Lock feature in Android 15. These features will be AI-powered. This will help in keeping the personal data of users safe.
Real Time Protection: To keep users safe from fake apps, real time protection feature will also be available. This will keep you safe from such apps, which gain access to personal information as soon as they are downloaded.
