Orientation of Physics and Science teachers to improve the quality of education

Jashpur. Jashpur. Under the Yashasvi Jashpur program run under the guidance of Collector Rohit Vyas, with the aim of promoting quality science teaching in the district, an orientation workshop for teachers of science in class 10th and physics in class 12th was organized at SAGES Hindi Medium Jashpur in the presence of District Education Officer PK Bhatnagar. In the workshop, Deputy Collector Prashant Kushwaha explained through more than 15 interesting and simple scientific experiments how the principles of complex physics can be explained to the students in an effective manner.
He got the teachers to do experiments related to force, motion, friction, surface tension inertia, momentum energy conservation, refraction, air pressure, rotational motion, centrifugal force, heat transfer, sound, static and kinetic friction, and Newton’s laws etc. and told how to include them in class teaching. In the experiments, many concepts of physics were explained using common objects like rope, plastic bottle, candle, water, ice, ball, pendulum, spring, spoke, balloon, glass, mobile, lens, mirror, LED bulb, paper pen, funnel, plastic ball etc.
Vinod Gupta, Nodal Officer of Yashasvi Jashpur explained the zone mapping of human brain psychology. Talking about comfort zone, fear zone, learning zone and growth zone, he talked about coming out of the comfort zone and taking challenges to improve one’s life as well as the future of the students. District Education Officer P.K. Bhatnagar, Employment Officer Durgeshwari Singh, Naib Tehsildar Rohit Gupta, Sanjeev Sharma and Avnish Pandey from Yashasvi Jashpur along with Block Education Officer, BRCC and lecturers of Science and Physics of the district were present in the program. This type of practical presentation will increase the interest of the students towards the subject and they will be able to understand difficult concepts easily.
