Organ harvesting in Thrissur: Contact CBI

Kerala: State police action in the case of organ harvesting in Thrissur district, a central agency has been brought in to investigate the incident. Efforts are being made to get the case investigated by the CBI under the leadership of Santhavanam Jeevakaranya Samiti, an organization working against organ harvesting. When the issue of organ harvesting was not discussed in the ongoing legislative session, the meeting was over and the CBI was asked to file a petition in the court. Shanam Santhavanam Jeeva said that it has been decided to file a petition in the court if needed.

Babu said, Mullassery and Venkatanga panchayats in Chavakkad taluk are through the mind. Recently, two men from Mullassery panchayat who had lost their organs were sold by agents, the premises were sold by a private hospital. After the agents removed the organs of many people, the Santhavanam Jeevakaranya Samiti complained to the Chief Minister and Health Minister. As per the instructions of the Chief Minister, the Guruvayur Assistant Police Commission has clarified that a comprehensive investigation should be conducted by a special team at the state level. Reported. But, the committee complains that no specific investigation is being done.
