He said that a delegation of enlightened citizens of Dharamshala has once again met former Union Minister and former Chief Minister Shanta Kumar at his residence. The purpose of the public meeting was to actively support Shanta Kumar by sitting on dharna in the ongoing movement for the construction of Central University Dharamshala campus.

Atul Bhardwaj said that former Union Minister Shanta Kumar said that now at the age of 90, he will be forced to sit on protest regarding the construction of CU campus.

He also requested that on behalf of the people of Kangra-Chamba Lok Sabha, the Central Government should put pressure on the State Government to deposit Rs 30 crore immediately, otherwise the Central Government will repay the financial amount to the Himachal Government. Put a stop to it. He said that if the public does not want to benefit from it, then this government has no meaning. Atul Bhardwaj told that Shanta Kumar said that all the agitators should fight unitedly and if everyone fights unitedly, then he will definitely take out one day for the struggle and also assured that he will support the people in this struggle.

Mr. Mankotiya said that if the state government does not take any decision on this soon, he will go on a fast unto death.
