On wife’s complaint, young man’s body was dug out of the grave after 21 days
Bahraich. A youth resident of Basantapur village of the district died in a road accident on January 12. The family members had performed the last rites without informing the police. On the complaint of the wife, the police got the body exhumed from the grave on Saturday. After this the body was sent for post-mortem.
Hussain Ahmed (27), son of Moharram Ali, resident of Basantapur village under Fakharpur police station, died in a road accident. In the case of death in a road accident in the village on January 12, the family members did not give any information to the police and got the dead body cremated.
After this, Zulekha, the wife of the deceased youth, gave a complaint letter to District Magistrate Monica Rani and demanded that the post-mortem of the body be done. On the instructions of the District Magistrate, the police team led by Naib Tehsildar Kaiserganj and Sub Inspector Raj Narayan Yadav reached the village. The police got the dead body exhumed.
Inspector in-charge Anuj Kumar Tripathi said that the deceased had died in a road accident. The wife has not made any allegations. On the instructions of the magistrate, the body was taken out of the grave after 21 days and sent for post-mortem.
