Kushinagar: A huge uproar took place at a wedding in Kushinagar. It was revealed that a young man named Tabrez had developed friendship with a girl from Tola Satpokharia of Bhaluhi of Ahirauli Bazar police station area on mobile by calling himself Aryan Prasad. He trapped her in the trap of love and arranged for her to marry him. Tabrez has no hair on his head. On Sunday night he wore a wig and reached the wedding. After Jaimal, the fake jewelery and poor quality clothes brought for the bride exposed her. Ahirauli market police reached the information and arrested him. On the complaint of the girl’s father, the police have registered a case under other sections including Love Jihad. ASP Abhinav Tyagi, who reached the police station on Monday, informed the media about this.
A girl, resident of Bhaluhi Tola Satpokharia of Ahirauli Bazar police station area, came in contact with a young man through mobile a year ago. The youth introduced himself as Aryan Prasad, son of Jaihind Prasad, resident of Mirzapur, Gorakhpur. Told that he is posted in the police department and his posting is in Basti district. Both of them became friends on mobile and started talking often. Even during long conversations, Tabrez did not give the girl any chance to doubt him. After a few days, the young man expressed his love for the girl and proposed marriage. Both of them agreed to marry each other. On being told by the girl, her father also talked to the boy on mobile.
Considering the boy’s family as his own people, he went to Gorakhpur to settle his daughter’s relationship with them. Tabrez called the girl’s father to his residence in Gorakhpur but passed off someone else’s house as his own and gave him water to drink there. After discussions, the wedding date was fixed for Sunday, February 25, 2024. Told him to bring this wedding procession. A day before the scheduled date, the young man told the girl’s father on his mobile that his mother had suffered a heart attack. I can’t come with the wedding procession. I will bring only my father and brother.
The girl’s family had made preparations. So he agreed to this. On the night of 25th February, a young man tied to a car reached Satpokharia as a groom. The girl and the boy celebrated with great joy. Preparations for the next ritual began. Meanwhile, the girl’s family came to know that the jewelery brought to give to the bride was a duplicate. The clothes were also of poor quality. The girl’s family started protesting against this. During the argument between both the parties, doubt arose over the youth’s religion. Meanwhile it came to light that the young man was not Aryan Prasad. Rather his real name is Tabrez Alam. He is the son of Sagir Alam, resident of Kushinagar, Nagar Panchayat, Mathauli police station, Kaptanganj district. When this matter came to light, the girl refused to marry.
Seeing the dispute, two other people accompanying the young man secretly ran away. After a lot of commotion, people from the girl’s side informed the police on number 112 in the night. Police reached the spot and made the young man sit. After some time, Ahiroli Bazaar police station incharge Manoj Kumar Verma reached with his companions. Tabrez was taken into custody and taken to the police station. The girl’s father told the police that while talking on the phone, he claimed to be working in the police department and was posted in Basti district. The daughter was taken into a trap. On Monday, the girl’s father reached the police station and filed a complaint against the young man for trying to arrange a marriage by hiding his religion and caste. The SO informed the officials about this. On the instructions of ASP Abhinav Tyagi who reached the police station, a case was registered against the accused Tabrez, his father Sagir Alam and brother Javed Ali. On getting information about the matter, Hindu leader of the district and former District President of Hiyuva, Sanjay Singh Munna reached the spot. After taking information from the family members of the victim girl, he demanded strict action in the case of Love Jihad. Police are deployed in the village as a precautionary measure. ASP Abhinav Tyagi said that on the basis of his father’s complaint, a case has been registered against the young man in Ahiroli Bazar police station for trying to marry by changing his religion. The accused has been arrested by the police. Others are being searched. Advance legal action is being taken.
