Old video of Arshad Warsi discussing South cinema surfaces

Mumbai: Arshad Warsi has found himself at the centre of controversy after a clip of an old interview resurfaced on Reddit and X, in which he made negative comments about South Indian cinema. The clip gained attention after his recent criticism of Prabhas’ character in Nag Ashwin’s ‘Kalki 2898 AD’, which was followed by criticism online. In the old interview, Arshad was asked if South Indian cinema would be popular in the North as well, especially after the success of Prashanth Neel’s Kannada film ‘KGF’, Hindustan Times reported.
