Odisha CM lays foundation stone for 118 Godabarish Mishra Model Primary Schools

Banapur: In a major step towards strengthening primary education in Odisha, Chief Minister Mohan Charan Majhi laid the foundation stone for 118 Godabarish Mishra Model Primary Schools today. The ceremony was held at Banapur and marked the first phase of this ambitious project.

According to the reports, the government has allocated a total of Rs. 12,000 crore for the initiative, with each school estimated to cost between Rs. 5 crore and Rs. 7 crore.

Each school will be constructed on a five-acre green field located near Panchayat offices, ensuring accessibility for communities in densely populated areas.

The Chief Minister emphasized that the project aims to provide modern infrastructure and improved learning facilities for children across the state.

The project is expected to significantly enhance the quality of primary education in Odisha and benefit thousands of students in the years to come.
