NSA Doval Paris: Discussed Rafale Marines, Scorpene submarines, Ukraine
Paris: Oct 1 (UNI) National Security Advisor Ajit Doval, who is in Paris, met his French counterpart Emmanuel Bonne for the annual bilateral strategic dialogue. He also held talks with French Defence Minister Sebastien Lecornu during which they discussed bilateral defence cooperation, including Rafale marines, Scorpene submarines, as well as the Ukraine conflict. The Indian Embassy in France said in a post on X: “NSA Ajit Doval and Diplomatic Advisor to French President Emmanuel Bonne led strategic dialogue in Paris,
reaffirming the India-France strategic partnership of great trust and ease and the high ambitions and responsibilities it has in the Indo Pacific and beyond, and from cyber to space.” On the NSA’s meeting with the Armed Forces Minister, it posted: “On his visit to France, India’s National Security Advisor, Shri Ajit Doval held wide-ranging discussions with the French Armed Forces Minister, Mr. Sebastien Lecornu. Their talks were aimed at deepening bilateral defence cooperation and advancing space cooperation, as well as sharing insights on the emerging international geopolitical landscape.”
The French embassy in Delhi said the talks with French Defence Minister Sebastien Lecornu focused on a range of bilateral defence cooperation – Rafale Marine, Scorpene submarines, space – to the international situation, particularly Ukraine. “During NSA Ajit Doval’s visit to France, the French Armed Forces Minister @SebLecornu met him for discussions. “Their talks focused on a range of bilateral defence cooperation – Rafale Marine, Scorpene submarines, space – to the international situation, particularly Ukraine.”
