Telecom companies will provide this facility. To take advantage of this, permission will be taken from the users.

The arrival of this feature will help telecom consumers to know who exactly is the caller. This will make it easier for users to decide whether to answer the call or not. CNAP will also help in preventing spam calls and fraud on telecom networks.

TRAI had sent recommendations to the government on February 23 for the introduction of CNAP services, in which TRAI had said that native third-party apps like Truecaller and Bharat Caller ID can provide features for caller identification and spam detection, which may not be reliable. it’s possible. According to TRAI, telecom operators will have to maintain a database containing the names of customers along with their phone numbers
