It is known that 03 workers were seriously injured due to the accident that occurred on 08 September 2024 in Karni Kripa Power Plant Khairjhiti Tehsil and District Mahasamund, which was not informed to the police / district administration by the management. Regarding the delay in giving information, the Assistant Director, Industrial Health and Safety has been ordered to appear before the Collector within 03 days and explain the reason. The Collector said that why disciplinary action should not be proposed against you. It is known that on 22 September 2024, when the news of the above was published in social media and newspapers, the district administration received information about the accident in the factory. Thereafter, this office constituted a team of Sub-Divisional Officer (Revenue) Mahasamund, General Manager District Trade and Industry Center Mahasamund and Labor Officer Mahasamund to investigate the accident and on 23 September 2024, the report was presented before the Collector after investigation in the factory. In which it was known that on 13 September 2024, you appeared in Mahasamund district and investigated the accident at Karni Kripa Power Plant Village Khairjhiti, which was not informed to the district administration. After investigation by the District Administration team on 23 September 2024, your office has sent a copy to this office informing the Chief Factory Inspector cum Labor Commissioner about the accident. Since the said serious accident was in your knowledge, you did not inform the District Administration about it. Due to which the image of the District Administration has been tarnished in social media and newspapers.
