North Korea Tests 10 Ballistic Missiles

Seoul: North Korea fired 10 ballistic missiles into the eastern sea today, South Korea said. North Korea has launched its latest missile test in the wake of South Korea’s participation in joint military exercises with the United States. South Korea’s Joint Chiefs of Staff said the missiles were fired from near the North Korean capital Pyongyang. However, it is not known how far the missiles traveled. Japan’s defense minister said the missiles landed near the Demilitarized Zone. South Korea said it had shared information about North Korea’s missile tests with Japan and the United States. Japan’s Defense Ministry said the missiles tested by North Korea traveled about 340 kilometers.
