Nokia VIL: Will help in strengthening 4G and 5G networks
Business: Global technology company Nokia on Saturday said it has secured a three-year contract from Vodafone Idea Limited (VIL) to provide 4G and 5G devices in India. The two companies will build 5G networks in major cities. The deal includes modernization and expansion of VIL’s 4G network, whose main supplier is currently Nokia. The launch is expected to provide premium connectivity to 200 million VIL customers.
