No team has been formed to oppose the DMK alliance: Th. Thirumavalavan

Tamil Nadu : Liberation Tigers of Tamil Nadu leader Tholam Thirumavalavan said no team has been formed yet to oppose the DMK alliance.

He attended the District Development Coordination and Monitoring Committee meeting held at the Cuddalore District Collector’s Office on Saturday and later told reporters:

We had planned to hold a rally to protect secularism in Trichy on the 31st. Due to unavoidable circumstances, we have planned to hold it on June 14.

Houses have been damaged due to the bursting of a sewage tank at a private dye factory at Kudikadu near Cuddalore. Many people were injured. No relief has been provided to the victims yet. The Collector has been requested in this regard. The Collector has assured that steps will be taken to investigate and provide relief.

It is being reported that factories in the Cuddalore Industrial Estate are polluting the air and water, causing many diseases. People are scared. The people of Kudikadu have demanded that the dye factory be removed. I will meet the Tamil Nadu chief minister and urge him to take action in this regard.

The DMK alliance is the only strong team. The team to oppose it has not been formed yet. It is not known whether the AIADMK-BJP alliance will last or not, Thol said.
