nirmal: the old man was murdered

Nirmal: An elderly man was brutally murdered by some strangers in front of people in Bengalpet here on Friday when he and his son were traveling on a two-wheeler.

Buchanna (65) of Ananthpet village died after he was attacked by assailants at an intersection in the city, police said.

His son Venkatesh, who was driving the motorcycle, suffered serious injuries. He was shifted to a hospital and was said to have a serious medical condition.
