New address for Odisha CM: Mohan Majhi shifts to new official residence in Bhubaneswar

Bhubaneswar: The address of the official residence of Odisha Chief Minister has changed. CM Mohan Charan Majhi shifted his house with family and did ‘Gruha Prabesh’ at his new official residence in Bhubaneswar.

As per reports, Chief Minister Mohan Charan Majhi entered to the new house after performing puja. The house is located in between Raj Bhawan and AG square in Bhubaneswar.

It has been learnt that 11 Brahmins came from Puri to perform the Gruha Prabesh puja. First, 2 cows were worshipped and then the Gruha Prabesh was done. The Chief Minister entered the new house with his entire family.

The time of entering the house was 10:47 am. The 2-storey Chief Minister’s residence has multiple conference rooms, a watch tower, and a large garden in front of the house.

The renovation of the Chief Minister’s quarters was going on for last 8 months. The quarters had been lying unused for 26 years. Earlier, the Chief Minister used to live in the Gandhi Marg quarters.
