Neighbor youth tried to open the saree of a sleeping woman, arrested
Raigarh raigarh news. A case of molestation of a woman has come to light in Thana Kapu area. The local woman came to the police station on August 24 and lodged a complaint that on the night of August 22, 2024, when she was sleeping in the room with her mother, Suraj Rathia (19 years), a resident of village Inchpara, opened the door of the house and entered inside. At around 12:30 in the night, he tried to force himself. Suraj Rathia tried to open the clothes with dirty intentions and was using force by pressing the mouth. The woman showed courage and pushed Suraj Rathia away, due to which he ran away. Thana Kapu
chhattisgarh news The woman’s mother, who was sleeping together, woke up and both of them clearly recognized Suraj Rathia. Electric light was burning in the room, due to which the accused could be identified.
On the complaint of the woman, the police took immediate action and registered a case against the accused Suraj Rathia under crime number. Case No. 103/2024 under Section 76, 331(2) BNS was registered and Suraj Rathia was taken into custody and questioned. During interrogation, Suraj Rathia confessed his crime and was duly arrested last night. The accused’s family has been informed about his arrest and he has been sent to judicial custody.
