Naxalites kidnapped 4 people, panic among villagers

Sukma. Big news has come out from Tekalgudam of Jagargunda police station area of Sukma district of Chhattisgarh. Where late last Sunday evening, Naxalites abducted 4 people including a JCB operator engaged in pipeline expansion work near the village under Jal Jeevan Mission. The Naxalites also took the JCB machine working at the spot with them.

According to information, at around 5 pm on Sunday evening, an armed gang of Naxalites reached Tekalgudam village and stopped the work. After this, they took 4 people with them along with the JCB machine, which includes two operators Jitendra Kumar, Manoj Gumta along with two small contractors Sheikh Nizam and Sheikh Latif of Sukma. As soon as information about the incident was received, the police started investigation. Here, the family members of the workers are in bad condition and crying. The family members have appealed to the Naxalites to release the people kidnapped as soon as possible. At the same time, no official confirmation has been made regarding this matter yet.

It is noteworthy that recently on January 30, Naxalites attacked the new camp opened by the police in Tekalgudam. In this, three CRPF and Cobra battalion soldiers were martyred. However, even after this, the work of setting up camps by the police and security forces continued in the village. Since the establishment of the camp, development work in the area has gained momentum. But Naxalites are not liking this development work and are carrying out such incidents out of frustration.
