Naxalite militia member arrested

Bijapur. As part of the ongoing anti-Naxalite operation in the district, the police arrested Dashur Podiyam, father of Naxalite militant Mogudu Podiyam, resident of Nedwayapara Guttamangi, with the propaganda material of the banned Naxalite group. Naxalite banners and leaflets, as well as a child in trouble with the law, were arrested from Kotter Police Station.

After action was taken against the Naxalite militant arrested in Kotar police station, he was taken into custody on Thursday and produced in Bijapur court and the child facing legal problems was handed over to the Juvenile Justice Department.
