Maharashtra: Rabale police have busted a gang that stole jewelry and cash from a wedding ceremony at the Leva Patidar Samaj Hall in Airoli. Police arrested a woman from Madhya Pradesh and recovered stolen property worth ₹7.53 lakh.

Purse Theft During Kanyadan Ceremony

The theft occurred on November 2nd during the wedding of Shakuntala Dayashankar Prasad’s (65) daughter, when gang members stole a purse placed on the stage for the Kanyadan ceremony. The purse contained gold and silver jewelry, ₹2 lakh in cash, and two iPhones, totaling ₹8.53 lakh.
