National-Level Masters Athletics Competition: Athlete from Kumbakonam Wins 4 Gold Medals

Tamil Nadu: A resident of Kumbakonam has won four gold medals at the National Masters Athletics Championship held in Punjab.

The 45th National Masters Athletics Championship was held over three days—on March 14, 15, and 16—at the Guru Kashi University grounds in Talwandi Sabo, Bathinda district, Punjab. In this event, male and female athletes aged between 30 and 100 years, hailing from various states, participated in a range of disciplines, including the 100m, 200m, and 400m sprints, long jump, triple jump, high jump, hurdles, discus throw, and shot put.
